It's business as usual at Bafbox but under a new name to reflect the company's
aims and aspirations for the 21st Century.
customDesignTechnologies Ltd will carry on providing the outstanding levels of
service for which Bafbox is renowned while the latter tradename will remain synonymous with the folded box technique that
the company developed and perfected over the last decade and a half.
Interrogation of managing director David Thompson clarifies the rationale behind
the changes, 'Our Bafbox brand has served us well over the last 15 years but we now find ourselves offering our customers
so much more than just custom fabricated enclosures.
For example, we are fast becoming a major player in the membrane keypad supply
area following the launch of customKeypads last year.'
He continued, 'All that we have learnt through Bafbox, in terms of attention to
detail and customer service, is being harnessed in new areas and our recently launched customAssembly division, specialising
in custom electronic design and assembly, has now been bolstered with the purchase of Lexor, an established and well respected
electronics design and manufacturing company with an expertise in small batch runs and delay lines.'
He concluded, 'A bold step many might think. However it's not necessarily the name
that matters but rather more the service and actions of dedicated and well trained staff who really know how to put the customer
first. In that respect, nothing has changed here.'
